What data do we collect?

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, by using our services, you accept the collection of some of your personal data by our Study Center. Our privacy policy explains what data we collect, why and how we use them.

We process two types of data:

  • Data provided by the user 

  • Data we collect automatically

DATA PROVIDED BY THE USER

When you subscribe to our website, our newsletter or an event, we ask you to provide us with some data that you need to use our service.

 The data we collect may include, but are not limited to:

  • Name and surname

  • address and e-mail

  • date of birth

  • sex

  • city

  • phone number

DATA WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY

We collect data by using cookies and other similar technologies, in accordance with your selection: for more information, please visit the section “Cookies”.

 

1. How do we use the data we collect?

We use the data collected to offer you daily our service, to inform you about our activities or to offer you a more personalized service in line with your interests.
 

1.1. TO GUARANTEE ACCESS TO OUR SERVICES  AND IMPROVE THEIR DISTRIBUTION

We use your information to guarantee access to our services and their delivery, including:

  • registration for an event, subscription to our newsletter, creation of the Reserved Area

  • communications related to service provision

  • activities of an administrative, financial or accounting nature

Such data processing is necessary to properly deliver AMIStaDeS services to the users who join.

1.2. TO INFORM YOU ABOUT OUR ACTIVITIES

We use the collected data if you have expressly provided your consent, to inform you about promotional activities that may interest you. 

In particular, we use them:

  • to send you information about our activities;

  • to inform you about courses offered by AMIStaDeS;

  • to send you our research projects, papers and digital publications for free;

  • to communicate promotional and commercial activities about AMIStaDeS events, initiatives or partnerships, through e-mail, or social network;

  • to improve the communication with its users through activities of analysis and reporting related to the systems of promotional communication, such as the tracking of the number of opened e-mail messages, the number of clicks on the links inside the communication, the type of device used to read the e-mails and the corresponding operating system or the list of the users who unsubscribed from our newsletter.

2. Providing data is mandatory?

Il conferimento dei dati personali è obbligatorio esclusivamente per i trattamenti necessari all’erogazione dei servizi offerti da AMIStaDeS (l’eventuale rifiuto per finalità di erogazione del servizio rende impossibile l’utilizzo del servizio stesso); è invece facoltativo per le finalità promozionali e l’eventuale rifiuto di prestare il consenso non ha conseguenze negative sull’erogazione del servizio offerto nell’ambito del sito web www.amistades.info.

 

3. Who are the targets of the processing?

3.1. DATA CONTROLLER

The Centro Studi AMIStaDeS – Fai Amicizia con il Sapereis with registered office in Rome (IT), via Cesena 22 int.13 – 00182 Roma C. F. 97938910581 is the Data Controller of your personal data.

For any request about your personal data, please read the following paragraph 3.2.

3.3. WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR DATA  

Data collected in the framework of service provision may be shared with institutions and administrative and legal authorities as required by law. 

Your personal data may be transferred outside the European Union to be processed by our service providers. In this case, we ensure that this transfer takes place in compliance with the legislation in force and that an adequate level of protection of personal data is guaranteed based on an adequacy decision, on standard clauses on Binding Corporate Rules. 


Under no circumstances do we sell personal data to third parties.

 

4. How can you get information on the data, modify them, delete them or have a copy?

4.1. EXPORT AND DELETION OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

To export your personal data (takeout) or request a cancellation or modification, you can send a request to info@amistades.info.

Your personal data will be exported within 30 days, in the event of a particularly difficult takeout, within three months.

The deletion will be carried out within the prescribed technical time and in accordance with the retention period referred to in paragraph 5.

 

4.2. EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

Any natural person using our service can:

  • obtain information from the owner about the existence of their personal data, the origin of the latter, the purposes and methods of processing and, obtain access to personal data and information referred to in Article 15 of the GDPR;

  • request the updating, rectification, integration, deletion, limitation of data processing if one of the conditions laid down in Article 18 of the GDPR occurs, the transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data, processed in violation by law, including those whose retention is not necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected and/or subsequently processed;

  • oppose, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection and processing of personal data provided for commercial information purposes or sending advertising material or direct selling or for the fulfilment of market research or commercial communication; each user also has the right to revoke the consent at any time without undermining the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation;

  • receive personal data, provided knowingly and actively or through the use of the service, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by automatic device, and transmit them to another data controller without impediments;

  • file a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority.

5. How and for how long will your data be stored? 

Personal data will be stored in paper and/or electronic/IT format and for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the defined purposes, in compliance with your privacy and current regulations.

For analysis purposes aimed  at the development and improvement of the service, users' personal data of the may be stored for the same period of time.

For direct marketing purposes, we retain your data for a maximum period in accordance with the applicable law (24 months).

Invoices, accounting documents and transaction data are retained for 11 years in accordance with the law (including tax obligations).

In the case of exercising the right to be forgotten through a request for express deletion of personal data processed by the owner, please note that such data will be kept, in a protected form and with limited access, solely for purposes of investigation and prosecution of crime, for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of the request and subsequently will be deleted safely or anonymized irreversibly.

6. How do we ensure the protection of your personal data?

Data  are collected by the subjects, according to the indications of the relevant legislation, in particular in respect of the minimum security measures required by the GDPR (art. 32), for their processing using computerized, manual and automated tools and with logic strictly related to the defined purposes, and anyway by guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of the data. 

In compliance with applicable regulations, an anti-spam verification system is on the users’ communications is activated. The data entered may be checked for the sole purpose of identifying illegal activities, but will not be processed or communicated for commercial or promotional purposes.

 

7. Applications

The Data Controller shares the webpage “Join the Team” to check for current vacancies at AMIStaDeS and it reserves the right to evaluate the applications submitted for the purposes of selection and research of personnel.
The resumes submitted for specific vacancies may be stored and re-evaluated for future recruiting for work positions fitting the candidate profile, in a maximum time of 2 years. The candidate can oppose the processing of his personal data, at any moment, by sending an e-mail to info@amisatades.info.
If you apply, please remember to include in your resume the authorization to process your personal data for the recruiting process and please do not include sensitive personal data (such as your health status and your religious, philosophic and political beliefs) not relevant to the job offer.

 

8. Can the privacy policy change over time?

This information may be subject to changes. If substantial changes are made to the processing of the user data by the holder, the latter will inform the user by publishing them with the utmost evidence on their pages or through other or similar means.

Cookies and similar technologies

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same websites on the next visit. Please remember that AMIStaDeS cannot ensure the proper functioning of the service and the effectiveness of the information. 

 

2. What cookies are used on our website?

The main purposes of the cookies installed by AMIStaDeS are:

  • technical, i.e. they are used for purposes related to the provision of the service and to allow or improve navigation on the website of AMIStaDeS or store user’s researches. These cookies are essential to ensure the proper functioning of our platform;

  • analytical, i.e. they are used to collect statistical data on the use of the Service by users (e.g. the number of visitors, visited pages…). We use these cookies to analyze traffic on our pages anonymously, without storing personal data;

Moreover, cookies specially designed for "social networks" may be activated. They allow the user to interact via Social Networks (Share feature, Facebook). When a page contains this feature, a direct link to the selected social network is established.
The use of these technologies is regulated according to the privacy policies of these companies and not to the privacy policy of this site.

 

3. How to give consent (opt-in) to the use of cookies?

The user gives its consent to the use of profiling cookies through the following methods: closing the banner displaying the short information notice and selecting the authorized cookies. 
All technical cookies do not require consent, therefore they are installed automatically  after accessing the website or the service.

4. How to withdraw (opt-out) consent to the use of cookies?
